 GOD HAS BLESSED AMERICA

     The people of the United States of America have been blessed beyond measure.  Actually, we have been blessed more than we deserve.  This nation was founded on religious freedom as taught from the BIBLE, God’s Holy Word.  Jesus Christ Himself said:  "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4.

      Things have changed since this nation was founded.  Many now ignore the Bible and deny the very existence of God Almighty.  We have seen prayer and Bible reading taken out of our public school systems.  The Ten Commandments have been in controversy  across this nation.  And now, the statement “UNDER GOD” in our pledge of allegiance to the flag is under attack from the God haters and the atheists.

      God has a rebuke:  Jeremiah 2:13, "For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water."

      This nation can’t continue on as she is and expect God to keep blessing.  It just will not happen.  We cannot throw away and ignore the Bible and design our own ways and methods of righteousness.  To do so is cutting off the hand that feeds us.  God will not accept our ways.

      The same God who sends out a rebuke also sends out and invitation.  II Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

     For this nation to come back to God it will take us as individuals to repent of our sins.  Luke 13:3, "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

      God who has blessed us in the past wants to bless us in the future.  We control our fate, whether it be defeat or  victory.  Call upon the Lord today while you can.  Let God and His Holy Word dominate you and control you.
