Tract Number 44
Have You Thought
About Where You Will Spend Eternity ????
It’s sad
to say, but most people today would say “NO” to this question.
Many are too busy doing worldly things to think about their soul.
They think they can live their life for the devil, then at the
last moment, give their heart to God.
But the Bible tells us differently.
Hebrews 9:27,
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the
judgment:"
No one knows the
exact time they will die.
That is why it is important to give your heart to God now while you
still have a chance.
James 4:14,
"Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life?
It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then
vanisheth away."
If you
are lost when you stand in the judgment, God will have no option but to
cast you into hell.
Revelation
20:12-15, "And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and
the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of
life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in
the books, according to their works.
And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man
according to their works.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second
death. And whosoever was
not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
The
Devil wants to take you to Hell.
Every time you say “NO” to God, it makes it a little easier the
next time.
There is,
however, a way to escape the wrath of God and to miss Hell.
That is through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Romans
6:23, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 10:13, "For
whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." If
you have never asked God to save you, then you need to do so now.
Just bow your head and repent of your sin.
Then you can stop thinking about where you will spend Eternity,
and start knowing where you will spend Eternity. Luke
13:3, "I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise
perish."
